Previously, the road was still dirt and difficult, referring to U Minh Thuong, people feel remote and sad. But now, no longer have to take a ferry, not across the river through the dunes anymore, Tac Cau bridge connecting the U Minh Thuong with visitors in a quite easy and convenient journey was born.

From junction Rach Gia bypass Tac Cau, going about 20km, you will come to the buffer zone of U Minh Thuong. The whole area of ​​the forest has been awarded the ASEAN Heritage Park (on August 12^th, 2013) with an area of 21,000 ha and wide entrance of 8,000 ha in core area.
