Yen The festival

Since then, the festival is held every year from March 15^th to 17^th on lunar calendar with many significant activities, presenting a majestic historical part of the uprising in the glorious history of resisting foreign aggression of our nation.

In particular, since 2013, 23 venues occurring Yen The Uprising are recognized as a special national relic, Yen The Festival is recognized as national intangible cultural heritage, Bac Giang province is always interested in directing and organizing the festival with many activities and solemn rituals, culture and sports as well as reproduction of any part of life and the atmosphere of the old people in Yen The hundreds of years ago.

Yen The festival is an opportunity for Bac Giang to promote and attract people everywhere to visit and explore the land of heroes. Attending the festival, visitors can also take the time to visit the relic sites of Yen The uprising.

During the last few years, Yen The Festival is not only known in Bac Giang and neighboring provinces but also by many delegations. Many donors have contributed to correct temple, cast statues and build landscape architect of Phon Xuong downtown area.
