On the evening of March 14th, 2016, at Square of Vinh Yen city (Vinh Phuc), it had a ceremony to receive the recognition of special national monument in term of art architecture in Binh Son tower – Song Lo and Historic and scenic landscape of Tay Thien – Tam Dao.

To recognize Binh Son tower and Tay Thien landscape as special National Monument

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam attended and awarded the recognition of the Special National Monument for Vinh Phuc province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc province Vu Chi Giang emphasized the historical and cultural value of Binh Son tower and Tay Thien landscape.

About Binh Son tower and Tay Thien landscape

Binh Son tower is a relic with unique architecture, creativity, the convergence of the essence of Vietnam’s traditional culture both tangible and intangible, both Buddhist and folk beliefs. Tower is reviewed by experts in national and international as one of the most intact art architecture of the country’s ancient tower surviving to this day. In 1962, Binh Son Tower is ranked by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture) as a national monument.

Tay Thien landscape is about 70 from central Hanoi to the northwest, is an ancient architectural complex with pagodas, temples, shrines, gravestone … bearing the imprint of history and culture. The unique feature of religious culture in Tay Thien is the interface between Buddhist culture and Mau worship. In 1991, Tay Thien is rated as a heritage at national level and is planned in key tourist area, become spiritual tourism destination with full of attraction for tourists from all over the regions.
